A little more clarity

Your questions.
Answered.

Is there a minimum auction fee?

It’s free to list and bid. When a deal occurs, the total auction fee is the greater of the graduated fee or $750 per transaction. That minimum is applied once before the fee is split between buyer and seller. At a 50/50 split, a $750 total fee means $375 per party. This is a minimum fee, not a minimum sale price.

Does closing cost extra?

No. Closing is included. Services such as notarization, escrow, and document recording may have additional fees.

What are the available payment methods for fees?

Auction and escrow fees can be paid by card or through escrow when available. Each party selects a payment method during the closing workflow. Escrow payment is available for escrow-funded transactions.

Is the auction fee still due if a deal closes off-platform?

Yes. The auction fee still applies if a transaction arranged through Paperstac closes off-platform, as outlined in our terms of service.

Are there any additional fees for using escrow services?

Escrow services have a $500 base fee, plus $50 for each additional seller disbursement account after the first and $150 for each wraparound-note payoff. The base escrow fee has its own buyer/seller split; the additional account and payoff fees are paid by the seller.

When are the fees charged?

There is no fee to list or bid. Auction and applicable escrow fees are handled in the closing workflow. Each party selects a payment method and completes the required fee step before the transaction proceeds to closing.
